Payments are always made in cash or via Twint, afterwards Andrea will send you a reclaim voucher for the health insurance by mail or email. Cancellations are possible a maximum of 24h before the appointment. For all other cancellations or unexcused absences, treatments will be charged at 100%.
Train Trips
Around the Motel Brüggli, there are numerous stunning train trips for railway enthusiasts. You might, for example, be interested in the Zentralbahn over the Brünig Pass, or the steam train up Mount Rigi. We have all the relevant brochures and information at reception.
Guided Tour of Lucerne
Lucerne is one of the most popular towns in Switzerland, offering a beautiful old town with many sights to be seen. To learn as much as possible about the historical town, it’s worth taking part in a guided tour. Information can be obtained from the Lucerne tourist information office or from the hotel reception.
Adventure Park
A must for adrenaline junkies! On the Fräkmüntegg you’ll find the biggest ropes course in Central Switzerland. No special training is required to get your thrills here. The park consists of various courses with different difficulty levels, big and small. Information at reception.
Boat Trips
Enjoy a beautiful boat trip on Lake Lucerne. You can reach Lucerne’s main pier from the Motel Brüggli in 20 minutes at the most. At reception we can give you the daily timetable, but we can also tell you about special offers such as the Mexican-themed fajita tour or the whisky cruise
Swimming spots
In the summer months, you can cool off in one of the many lakeside bathing spots and swimming pools in the surrounding area. For example, you can enjoy a refreshing dip in Emmen, Ebikon, Luzern, Meggen, Vitznau, Weggis, or various other lovely spots. Ask us for more information at reception.
Clubs and Bars
Lucerne is a centre for nightlife and parties, with numerous clubs, pubs and bars where you can enjoy yourself till the early hours of the morning. Afterwards, public transport offers a safe and inexpensive way of getting back to the motel. Information about Lucerne’s nightlife can be found at reception.
Maxx Cinema
The Maxx Cinema in Emmenbrücke (Seetalplatz) offers excellent entertainment just a few minutes from the Motel Brüggli. The cinema has 8 screens, showing the latest Hollywood blockbusters as well as independent films. Eat at McDonalds, Subway or Sam’s Pizza. Definitely worth a visit!
Emmen Center Shopping
The Emmen Center, 5 minutes from the Motel Brüggli, is the largest shopping centre in Central Switzerland. It houses over 80 shops and numerous restaurants and cafés. With H&M, C&A, Beldona, Vögele, Desigual, Lacoste, PKZ, Schild and Street One, you’ll also find a number of internationally known names.
Museum of Transport
The nearby Swiss Museum of Transport (Verkehrshaus) in Lucerne is the most diverse museum of transport and communication in Europe, and also has the highest visitor numbers in Switzerland. Look at locomotives, cars, boats and aeroplanes, or visit the planetarium, the film theatre or the Swiss Chocolate Adventure.
Winter sports
Central Switzerland is a superb destination for skiing, snowboarding and tobogganing. Skiing areas with guaranteed snow cover such as Klewenalp, Engelberg Titlis or Melchseefrutt can be reached easily by car or by public transport from the Motel Brüggli. Ask for information and maps at reception.
Hiking
Central Switzerland is an absolute paradise for walkers. Popular walking spots such as Rigi, Pilatus, Klewenalp, Bürgenstock or the Jakobsweg are easy to reach from the Motel Brüggli. We’ll be pleased to give you more detailed information and walking maps at reception.
Hangar13
Hangar13 is a sports and recreation centre for the whole family, and is located just 5 minutes’ drive from the Motel Brüggli. Play paintball or have fun in the Laser Arena. Children can let off steam in the Kids Arena. We have information on Hangar13 at reception.
